Q. How can I join Doe’s Angling Club?
A. Download an application form, available from our website or obtain an application form by telephoning the Membership Secretary Mr Neil Warren on 07594 462627

Q. Why can’t I download and view the application form?
A. The application form is written in Adobe Acrobat and you will need Adobe Reader software to view the form. Most forms on the internet are in this “pdf” format so it’s well worth having. It can be downloaded free from the manufacturer at http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

Q. Do you offer a winter or half-year membership?
A. Yes, half-year membership is available from 1st October to 30th April at a substantially reduced rate. It is important to note that if the membership becomes full before the 1st November then half-year membership will not be available.

Q. Do I have to wait until 1st May to join Doe’s Angling Club on the yearly membership scheme?
A. No, you may join early at a cost of £5 for each calendar month before 1st May. e.g. To join from 1st March would cost, £5 for March, £5 for April plus the normal annual membership fee.

Q. Why do you charge a £10 joining fee?
A. The joining fee is used to fund the provision of membership cards and member handbooks. This is a one-off fee and also acts as a loyalty discount to members that renew their membership with the Club annually. Please note, there is no joining fee for either Junior or Associate members.

Q. I was a member 2 or 3 years ago and have my old membership card, can I just renew rather than rejoin to avoid the joining fee?
A. No. The joining fee also acts as a loyalty discount to members. Once your membership has lapsed, even for a year, membership details are unlikely to have been retained.

Q. What is Associate membership?
A. Associate membership is a NON-FISHING membership. It has been brought in for parents or guardians of Junior members, who do not fish themselves, but are required to be responsible for and to supervise the Junior member at Club waters.  Associate members are issued with a membership card and supplied with a Club handbook, so they are fully aware of the Club rules and regulations that must be complied with. There is no joining fee for an Associate member or the Junior member they supervise.

Q. How much does it cost for a night fishing permit?
A. Night fishing is free for members on permitted waters.

Q. Can I join online and pay by a credit or debit card?
A. No, not at this time. The Club wishes to personally check and validate all membership application forms via the Membership Secretary. Once a member you may purchase Guest Tickets online through our website and pay for them using a credit or debit card.

Q. I’m not a member, do you sell Day Tickets?
A. No, Doe’s Angling Club do not sell Day Tickets to any of our waters. Although this limits Club income, by having members only waters, this helps to maintain the high quality venues that the Club enjoys.

Q. Why has my Membership Application and payment been returned?
A. The Committee of Doe’s Angling Club reserves the right to decline membership to any person without further explanation.

Q. How do I renew my Club membership?
A. As a current member you will automatically be sent a renewal application form by the Membership Secretary. These are sent out in March, after the February AGM when annual fees are approved. If you have changed address since last year please update the Membership Secretary or use the contact page as soon as possible. If you have not received your membership renewal form by the 7th April please contact the Membership Secretary.

Q. Are there any benefits for concessionary members?
